WenKar was
Wendy Van Weynsberghe. Graduated as filologist in English and Dutch. She first started the "Storing" broadcasts on her own, as music and radio are her true loves. She now also performs as electronic improviser "Wy", fully armed with her microphone, casiotone and kaos pad. "Wy" fiddles at home sticking a microphone about everywhere. Out come sounds which people have described as being filmic and evocative.
Karen Vanderborght. In 1995 she graduated as master in the audiovisual arts at St. Lukas, Brussels. She worked on videoclips and/or visuals for electronic music artists as "Porter Ricks", "Thomas Köner", "Senking" Finnish lofi band "Killa" and recently "Amute". She sometimes re-appears as DJ Muziq Fatale. Click through this website for more info on her and her activities.

Cyber Dreams and Cyber Nightmares
Storing was a weekly radio program on the free radio station fm bssl in Brussels with
Wenkar as host(s). This female duo with only 1 name presented specials
for everyone who and everything which is unlawfully forgotten by mainstream's
vanity. Housewives, the eighties toddler's show tiktak, the former Belgian
king Baldwin the first and oriental flavoured noodles received
a musical tribute by WenKar. Music, from classic pop tunes to abstract
noise, self recorded sounds and effects all go down in the storing- mix
to build up a personal commentary of sounds and familiar voices. DJ WenKar's playlist got published in The Wire, we were attacked by Royalists, played marathon sets, composed soundscapes and tried out some more artistic endeavours.
It had it's highs and it's lows, but it sure was fun.
