Heimat ist Praxis - SCAR 4 /The Growth of Wild Flesh

DESCRIPTION:
Somewhere at a distance, at the end of a long somber corridor an image twinkles. It resembles vaguely some kind of familiar sign. Still approaching the figures reveal themselves as a father punishing his daughter in various humiliating ways.

Exposed - SCAR 1/The growth of Wild Flesh

DESCRIPTION: In remembrance of the victims of the first atomic blast who were found back as white shadows on the blackened concrete of the streets of Hiroshima.
The 3 masked projections form together the sign of radio activity on a white cloth wrapped around the pilars as an enormous sterilized gauze. Left under is a projection of a white shadow of human silouhette on a black background, right under the black shadows of the visitors (who walk in the projector light), and above these is a black film loop with one short piece of glass film with the word "exposed" (end of super-8 film) projected. This gives on regular moments a short flash of light in the darkened space.
